OCEANSIDE, CA. DECEMBER 26, 2016 – On December 13, 2016, the San Diego Mountain Biking Association (SDMBA) and the Law Firm of Richard L. Duquette entered into a long-term Platinum Sponsorship agreement.
This agreement is a win-win collaboration between them, as both are committed to protecting bicyclist's interests. Both SDMBA and Mr. Duquette advocate for more open space for responsible off-road mountain biking, including giving back to the community with trail maintenance at no cost to taxpayers.
Mr. Duquette recently received an award from SDMBA for his legal work leading the way to the return of mountain bikes seized by officials on the Miramar Marine Base.
Additionally, Mr. Duquette has obtained substantial civil recoveries on behalf of injured bicyclists and their families. Some of these have been highly publicized cases, including the Camp Pendleton, Palm Desert, Fiesta Island and Carlsbad incidents in which multiple cyclists were badly injured or killed after being struck.
Mr. Duquette is excited to be a sponsor of SDMBA, and looks forward to working with a like-minded organization to protect the interests of bicyclists throughout the area.
